Resident Spotlight
If you’ve ever walked through The Harbor at Renaissance and been greeted by a bright smile, a cheerful laugh, or caught a resident dancing to 60s music, chances are—it was Andrea Dubois.
Andrea has been a cherished resident of The Harbor for many years, and her vibrant spirit continues to light up our halls each and every day. Born and raised in the island paradise of Honolulu and Oahu, Hawaii, Andrea brings a warm, tropical charm to everything she does. Her childhood memories are filled with sunshine, the sound of waves, and the close-knit embrace of her island community. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, she attended the University of Hawaii, where her love for learning and life continued to blossom.
As a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mother, Andrea poured her heart into raising her four children: Lance, Heather, Denise, and Lori. She and her husband built a loving home full of laughter, good food, and family traditions. Family has always been at the center of Andrea’s world, and she shares a deep bond with her sister Audrey and brother Alan. Just as she cherishes her loved ones, Andrea brings that same warmth to her hobbies and the friends she’s made at The Harbor.
Andrea’s zest for life is impossible to miss. Whether she’s tending to her garden, enjoying a hot cup of coffee, solving puzzles, or catching up on her favorite true crime shows, she dives in with joy. She’s also a big fan of movies, music, and classic game shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. And if the sounds of the 60s are playing, you’ll almost always find Andrea dancing along.
Her caring nature extends to animals, too. Andrea lovingly raised two pups, Louie and Lacie, and she always lights up around furry friends. She also has a fondness for sweet treats and enjoys a bit of pampering—especially when it comes to getting her nails done.
Some of Andrea’s favorite memories include adventures to San Francisco, Maui, and Texas. Whether she’s traveling, chatting with friends, or exercising, Andrea brings a positive energy that inspires everyone around her.
At The Harbor at Renaissance of Greene County, we’re lucky to know Andrea. Her kindness, humor, and infectious laughter make everyone feel at home. She’s not just a resident—she’s a bright light whose presence lifts our spirits every day.
Thank you, Andrea, for being such a treasured part of our community!
