The Harbor at Renaissance Memory Care Community to Host Memorial Day Cookout Open to the Public May 23

Stanardsville, Va. (May 2025) — The Harbor at Renaissance, a premier memory care community in Stanardsville, will host a community-wide memorial day cookout on Friday, May 23rd  at 2 p.m. The Harbor at Renaissance invites the local community to come enjoy the beautiful Spring weather while partaking in all the festivities that the community will have to offer.

This event will have music, cornhole, delicious food and drinks, games, water balloons and more. In addition to the festivities, the community will be offering tours of the premier memory care community.

While the Memorial Day event is a time designed for friends and family to fellowship together, it is also an expression of gratitude toward our Veterans. Sandy Siler, Executive Director of The Harbor, expresses, “As we fellowship with our residents, team members, family members and community partners, we also want to take the time to recognize our fallen soldiers who fought valiantly for our country. We are looking forward to hosting this fun event!”
